All 3 services listed were tried and Message Access wins out because it allows personalization of greeting, notification of messages while online, and a toll free forwarding number when requested. All of the above services require "forward on busy" service from the telephone company for a small initial cost of about $7 and a monthly cost of about $1. Still, your family and friends can reach you while online and you can call them back. BuzzMe was good until their service started running a banner with ads the whole time connected to the service. The ads/banner kept crashing computer.
Formerly Highly Recommended: Yahoo recently started allowing the sale of pornography in their online store. Canton, GA Baptist Church News does not wish to promote the use of a service which interjects hindrances such as pornography into people's lives.(note 4/20/2001: Though Yahoo! has stated they will remove the pornography from their online store, they may have just realized that they should not have publicized it. If you use their services monitor them closely to prevent embarassment and promotion of immoral product sales. Do not download Yahoo!Companion. This program adds to your browser and does not completely remove by using uninstall. You can uncheck the box during the download process and avoid downloading the companion.
